What is an Eyebrow Transplant?
An eyebrow transplant uses the FUE technique to restore or reshape eyebrows that are thin, sparse, or completely absent. Individual hair follicles β usually taken from behind the ear or the scalp β are carefully implanted into the brow area at the precise angle that mimics natural eyebrow growth.
The result is permanent, natural-looking eyebrows that grow and can be trimmed and shaped as desired.
β¨ Who it's for: People with naturally thin brows, over-plucked brows, brow loss from medical treatments, burns, scarring, or conditions like alopecia.
Why Eyebrow Transplant?
- Over-plucking has caused permanent follicle damage
- Naturally very thin or sparse eyebrows
- Hair loss from chemotherapy or radiation
- Eyebrow loss from burns, scarring, or trauma
- Alopecia areata affecting the brow area
- Desire for fuller, more defined brows permanently
The Procedure
Brow Design
Your surgeon draws the ideal brow shape based on your facial structure and your preferences. This design is agreed upon before any procedure starts.
Donor Area Preparation
Fine single hairs are taken from behind the ear or the scalp nape β areas that produce hair most similar in texture to eyebrows.
Precise Implantation
Each follicle is implanted at a very shallow angle (5β15Β°) to replicate the flat, directional growth of natural eyebrow hair. This requires exceptional precision from the surgeon.
Recovery
Mild redness for 3β5 days. Transplanted brow hairs may shed temporarily before regrowing permanently from month 3 onwards.
